Darn Guy Adventures (AKA DGA) is a ~4 hour RPG adventure based around attempting to find news about a certain videogame.

Install instructions
The download is a .zip file with 3 files:
- The game files;
- The RPG Maker XP Runtime Package;
- A text file with more detailed install instructions.
Simply unzip the zip, run the "xp_rtp" executable, run the "Darn Guy Adventures" executable, and finally run the "Game" executable to launch.

Astute observation
Now that I beated rotten mode (I think I copleted all quest but Norton says I didn´t even if I did all quest on the reecap) I´ll like to report that once I was going to the adventures guild at nigth and when entering game chrases, I didn´t lose progres (save button spamer) but the next time I enterd it didn´t chras so I don´t know wtf happend there
Also don´t tell the devs but there is a bug(a feature) that makes the spike section 200% times easier, from the botom left, one rigth 2 up there is a scuare that ignores vertical rows of spikes that go from one side to another (also protects you from the # shape), I hope this doesn´t get fix cuz darn rotten mode spike section goes harder that the ost of said section
Edit: I found the sound file for that section music (why does wolfman has so many audio files)
Edit2: Norton finally said I completed everithing, either I had to deliver the "ant food barrel" or you can´t 100% when helping cookie (cuz the statue)
Trying to beat the game for the second time, thanks to whoever make dialog for all the cactus, also I just realice that the seal on cherry forest was made from the inside (which didn´t end well) by a character that also tried to take the worms out (I know it sounds weird but their name is a very late game spoiler).
Great game and I hope I don´t get stuck with the second fase of the spikes cuz it´s my first time triying to beat rotten mode and I am to stubborn to let go

Had a lot of fun but I don´t know if I broke something, I beated the game, and wanted to play again from zero to coplete 100%, but for some reason the ant queen is missing from the cave and cookie wont break my window and meeting him at the fountain doesn´t drop the "code" when leaving so, the other members of the party doesnt let me knock at his door and I can´t see what I miised, also on second playthrough fixed the staue and was told to go at nigth but I cant find any special dialog from the church man, deleted folder and reinstalled, the ant queen still missing so I gave up
New patch just dropped!
The church thing was a bug, that's been fixed. The note/knock was just unclear, that's been improved too. As for the queen ant... let's just say insects like to move around a bit.

Those 2 folks don't really like each other - as soon as you start being buddy with one of them, the other won't be very happy with you.
Yes, you can. You lose the statue quest after leaving Cookie's House, and the trigger for DoubleE to stop is holding cookie's note, which Cookie only drops before you finish quest 11.
You need to:
* Talk to DoubleE, get quest 11
* Talk to Cookie, let him drop the note but leave it
* Pay DoubleE, fix the statue
* Talk to DoubleE at night
* Leave Silk Church and pick up Cookie's Note
* Go to Cookie's house
This is definitely unintended (Tinta even says, "I doubt we can make friends with both"). You even get 2 screwdrivers this way.

one of the boulder maths puzzles is solvable and the boulder didnt let me through when given the right answer. unplayable.
for those wondering:
one orange - 2a
one apple - 3a
one aracoin - a
so you can afford 5 apples if you have 5 oranges and 5 aracoins, but the answer is not accepted by the boulder. worst game ever!!!!! /s
